Forensic psychiatry is a medical sub-specialty that deals with the interaction between psychiatry and the legal system.

Dr. Zimnitzky provides forensic consultation to attorneys and courts in both civil and criminal matters.  He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and timely assessments.  As required, he communicates effectively through written reports and testimony.  Dr. Zimnitzky provides assessments of children, adolescents and adults.

In civil matters, Dr. Zimnitzky has provided consultation in:

• Competency to Stand Trial/Competency to Proceed
• Criminal Responsibility
